Trash Pandas Claimed Victory in The Champions of Rec League Cup Final!
On January 5th, 2020 the Beer Store and SportsNet 590 The Fan hosted the ultimate Rec League showdown at Mattamy Athletic Centre in downtown Toronto.
The Trash Pandas and Oshawa North Stars went head to head for the chance to win the first ever Champions of Rec League Cup in a high intensity performance of grit, endurance and some cherry-picking. Joe Bowen and Jim Ralph hosted the live game broadcast on Sportsnet 590 The Fan.
The game was tied up until the final goal was scored at 30s left of play. It all ended in a 5-4 victory for the Trash Pandas.
Congratulations to the Trash Pandas for clinching the 1st Champions of Rec League Cup!
