February 3rd, 2025:
All alcohol products imported into the province, including beer, wine, and spirits, are managed through the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO). The LCBO is responsible for overseeing the importation, distribution, and sale of alcohol, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations.
To reiterate, in Ontario, The Beer Store does not import any alcoholic beverages. The Beer Store operates as a retail and wholesale distributor, offering a wide selection of beer products that are either produced domestically in Canada or imported through the LCBO’s regulated system. Any imported beer available at The Beer Store has been brought into Ontario through the LCBO’s authorized channels.
For further information on alcohol importation policies in Ontario, please visit the LCBO’s official website.
